Welcome to Holiday, a cozy little town nestled between mesas in
the Great American Southwest. Located just west of Red Mesa, Holiday is full of some great stuff. Some of the best eats can
be found here, and there are plenty of watering holes. There are also plenty of warm beds here to sleep in, if you stay overnight.
Holiday was started by a rather eclectic group of "hippies"
who migrated from Rainbow Daydream after the Great Crotalus Creek Gold Rush of '88 (See the history page for details).
There are a lot of great people here. Dr. Thurman McPaul, for instance, is our physician/surgeon on duty, and a fine doc he is. Referred to lovingly by the people as "Doc",
Dr. McPaul is about the best doctor folks could ever ask for. Plus, he is among the founders of the town.
His best pal and confidante, Irene Beresford, runs Irene's Place, a nice place to grab a burger and a brew if you plan to stay a spell. But make sure you book a room at our reknowned Hotel Moonjava II before you stuff your face.
